Ed Quilling, who grew up in Gary, continued to be an advocate for drive-ins as many slowly disappeared throughout the state. The couple added a fourth screen, upgraded the facilities and added new foods to the menu, among other changes. The Quillings purchased the property in 1995. "Even though small-business ownership is no peach, I have fun every night that I'm at the drive-in," Snyder said. Snyder said she is the majority owner and will run it with Parkin.
